Lemansys is a brand new framework that has been developed by a young Italian software company. Despite the short time from its presentation, it has already been used in both commercial and open software developments.

Lemansys implements 3 powerful paradigms

• A model of integrated functionalities, very close to Lotus Notes/Domino model that fuelled the most successful RAD ever created
  
  
• The Objects Oriented Architecture (Java TM).
  
  
• The XML power to drive configuration and customization and to manage data interchange
  

The power of the object paradigm and of XML flexibility has been deployed in a framework that easily offers a most basic set of functionality similar to the Domino set and that like Domino may be compound to any degree of complexity.

The very inner structure is little more than the Object paradigm deployed into a web oriented architecture, inspired more by the philosophy of w3c
standards, than by the baroque and complex J2EE and .NET. And this approach, free from complex structures, let applications be developed both multi-tiered or peer to peer.

On this simple foundation a set of applications for vertical markets deploys the strength and effectiveness of the architecture. This point back on the
knowledge and understanding of the analyst and on the professional quality of the programmer, that design and realize the prototype SDK package. The
SDK package will from this start point on, be extended using Object Oriented features to comply for actual requirements of the customer of the particular market.
